ICMA-RC Appoints SVP and Chief Sales Officer and Enhances Leadership Team

ICMA-RC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ross Graham, currently Managing Vice President of Field Sales & Relationship Management at ICMA-RC, to Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer effective April 6, 2018.  Ross succeeds Chris Matzke, who is retiring after serving nearly 15 years at ICMA-RC and more than 30 years in the financial services industry.

Ross joined ICMA-RC in 2006 to lead the expansion of ICMA-RC's Retirement Health Savings (RHS) sales distribution. In 2011, he became Managing Vice President of the Central Division responsible for field sales, relationship management, the Direct Marketing Unit and financial planning. Under his leadership, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNINGTM team has evolved to provide enhanced education experiences for participants with a focus on delivering on ICMA-RC's outcomes-focused value proposition.

"Ross believes in ICMA-RC's mission and during more than a dozen years at ICMA-RC, has demonstrated strong leadership while expanding and enhancing our client relationships. We are pleased to promote him to this important role," said ICMA-RC President and CEO, Bob Schultze.  He added, "Chris' hard work and exceptional contributions to ICMA-RC are to be commended. We wish him the best in his retirement."

In addition to Ross' promotion, ICMA-RC is enhancing the leadership team to ensure the successful execution of the organization's operational and strategic objectives in 2018 and beyond:

  • David Tanguay, Chief Client Services Officer, currently on the Executive Leadership Team, has expanded his role by assuming oversight of Product Management and Development, Enterprise Risk Management, Market Strategy and Government Affairs.
  • Les McCollum, Managing Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer and Alex Hannah, Managing Vice President, Marketing and Communications were added to the Executive Leadership Team.
