ICMA-RC Is Proud Official Retirement Plan Services Provider for World Police & Fire Games

ICMA-RC, a Washington, D.C.-based retirement plan service provider exclusively serving local and state government employees, has partnered with the World Police & Fire Games as its "Official Retirement Plan Services Provider." The World Police & Fire Games, an Olympic-style sporting events for public safety officers, is expected to draw over 12,000 athletes and as many as 30,000 Games visitors to the Washington, DC National Capital Region this summer.
"We are honored to take part in this exciting event," said ICMA-RC President and CEO, Bob Schultze. "Public safety first responders are dedicated to serving our communities, so it's great to be able to celebrate these everyday heroes." Schultze continued, "We provide retirement services for more than a million public sector employees across the country, many of whom are first responders, and this is a way for us to give back and thank them for the trust they place in us."
ICMA-RC will also be the official host of two public safety focused sports: Police Service Dog and Motorcycle Street. In addition, ICMA-RC is headquartered in Washington DC and the organization plans to actively support the games by providing volunteers and support from their close to 800 associates.

The World Police & Fire Games will take place throughout the National Capital Region from June 26 to July 5, 2015.
