Partnerships and Recognitions

ICMA-RC has partnered with the National Fraternal Order of Police (NFOP) to create the NFOP Retirement Health Savings Plan and the Blue Line 457 Plan for NFOP members. NFOP chose ICMA-RC because it is a leader in providing retirement and retirement health savings plans to public safety organizations, and its long-standing commitment to public safety professionals.

ICMA-RC is the primary sponsor of the Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund, a Section 501(c)(3) public charity which honors the sacrifice of public sector employees who gave so much to their communities and who paid the ultimate price for their service. ICMA-RC is also a sponsor of the Western States Police & Fire Games, and a founding corporate sponsor of the International Hispanic Network.

ICMA-RC has been recognized for the excellence of its services as well as its commitment to the community. Its public Web site, its VantageLine automated telephone system, and its EZLink online administration service for plan sponsors have all received the coveted Dalbar Communications Seal, awarded by Dalbar, a leading financial-services market research firm. In 2005 it received the coveted Corporate Award from the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, recognizing its commitment to supporting professional local government management.
