ICMA-RC Discontinues Credit Card Program

In our efforts to focus our products and services on our mission of helping public employees build retirement security, ICMA-RC has terminated the ICMA-RC credit card program offered through JP Morgan Chase (“Chase”). While the program will be discontinued, account service will continue with no disruption to current cardholders.

ICMA-RC evaluates our product offerings for their effectiveness and consistency with helping public employees prepare for retirement. After careful evaluation, we determined that the credit card program was no longer consistent with our mission.

Existing cardholders’ account numbers will not change and their card service will not be disrupted. Cardholders can continue to make transactions with the card until it expires. Upon expiration, the ICMA-RC card will be replaced with a Chase-branded card as long as cardholders continue to meet Chase’s credit criteria.

Chase will be providing information in the mail to existing cardholders. In addition, cardholders may contact Chase at the toll-free number listed on the back of their cards with any questions about their credit card accounts.
