ICMA-RC Gives Its Mobile App a Makeover

ICMA-RC continues to focus on providing the best experience for retirement plan participants by making account management even easier for those on the go. Recently, the company enhanced its mobile app to include new features that allow participants to quickly access their accounts and retirement-planning resources and tools — whenever and wherever it is most convenient for them.

The mobile app enhancements include:

  • Facial and Touch Recognition — Personalized biometric authentication that allows participants to quickly access their account to view balance and other account details, complete transactions, and more
  • Simplified App Experience — Updated layout for easier navigation and account management
  • Enhanced Design — Refreshed look and feel

"According to ICMA-RC's research of our more than one million participant accounts, 65% of public employees are away from their desk, serving their communities, which makes providing a dynamic and user-friendly mobile experience more important than ever to state and local employees," said Karla Gill, Senior Vice President, Chief Information & Innovation Officer. "By expanding the functionality of our mobile app we are making it easier for this mobile workforce to manage their retirement accounts and work toward a secure retirement."

The app is available for download from the App Store® and Google Play. In addition to participants having the ability to view their account balance and complete transactions, they can also access interactive calculators, educational videos, and other resources.
